Still riding the high from the February release of her Exclaim! Mark of Excellence-tagged sophomore album, Heart of My Own, folk pop chanteuse Basia Bulat has announced a summer tour that will take her all over Canada, with late-summer stops in New York City and Gothenburg, Sweden, as well.
In a recent interview with Exclaim!, Bulat mentioned that "I travel so much that I feel like I don't have a proper home right now," but she's ploughing on with a summer tour that will touch major cities across Canada. Bayfield, ON, Toronto and Quebec City will be the only cities to get headlining shows, but Bulat will be appearing at festivals in Montreal, Ottawa, Yellowknife, Guelph, ON, Hudson, QC, and Edmonton. She'll close her summer tour with festival showings at New York City's Summer Stage with St. Vincent and Tune-Yards, and Way Out West Festival in Sweden.
