Bauhaus's Peter Murphy Brings His Dirty Dirt Tour to Ontario

Despite persisting rumours about his deteriorating health, former Bauhaus vocalist Peter Murphy has announced a slew of live dates that will comprise his Dirty Dirt Tour. The live dates involve stops in France, Portugal, the UK and, well, Ontario.

As Slicing Up Eyeballs reports, the singer currently has ten dates announced, with more to come. The tour replaces the 100-date tour Murphy had planned with former Dead Can Dance member Brendan Perry last November. That tour's cancellation led Perry to remark on his message board that Murphy "has too many albeit mysterious health issues to deal with and, to be honest, he's a sandwich short of a picnic."

Murphy toured extensively last year, but was forced to cancel a February webcast "due to poor health." So, take these dates with a grain of salt, we guess.

Murphy will appear in Hamilton, ON on August 8, and in Toronto two days later.

Tour dates:

7/29 Paris, France - La Machine Du Moulin Rouge
7/30 Alentejo, Portugal - Evora Festival
8/1 Wolverhampton, UK - The Slade Rooms
8/2 Glasgow, Scotland, UK - Classic Grand
8/3 Dublin, Ireland, UK - The Button Factory
8/5 London, UK - Electric Ballroon
8/6 Sheffield, UK - Corporation
8/7 Blackpool, UK - Rebellion Festival
8/8 Hamilton, ON - Festival of Friends
8/10 Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace
