Last year, Halifax indie rockers Beauts dropped their self-titled debut and the ensuing "After All" video. Now, they're back and ready to reveal a new EP titled Waves/Wash — and Exclaim! is giving you the chance to hear it before its official release.
The record hears the band showcasing their sharp (but still endearingly scrappy) brand of melodic rock'n'roll, weaving skillful storytelling between bursts of fuzzy bass, shimmering guitars and shout-along choruses.
From the scuzzy post-punk of opener "Covers," through the dreamy jangle of "Ether," on to the angular jolt of "Clocked" and ending up at the anthemic finale "Waves/Wash," the band's new four-song offering is a solid outing from start to finish.
Waves/Wash is due out on June 10, but you can give it a spin right now in the player below.
