Bedouin Soundclash have released their new video for the track "Brutal Hearts," from their 2010 album Light the Horizon. The track features Quebec's Coeur de Pirate, while the video was directed by famed Canadian filmmaker Bruce McDonald, best known for his Hard Core Logo.
Like much of McDonald's work, the video is set in Toronto, and it stars Bedouin Soundclash frontman Jay Malinowski and Coeur de Pirate in a gorgeously shot black and white clip. According to an interview with Coeur de Pirate, the break-up between the pair of "Brutal Hearts" musicians provided much of the inspiration for her recently released album Blonde.
