Last summer saw the release of Beirut's latest LP The Rip Tide. It also found bandleader Zach Condon and co. hitting the concert circuit. If you have fond memories of the project's melancholy yet uplifting, brass-laden compositions scoring your last sunny season, you'll be glad to know Beirut will be back in Canada next July on another tour.
Dates are slowly unfurling for the trip, but a press release confirms that the act will be making at least five stops between Quebec and BC. As you'll see in the dates below, everything kicks off July 17 at Montreal's Metropolis Theatre, but shortly thereafter they'll make their way to Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver. More dates are expected to arrive in the near future.
Tour dates:
7/17 Montreal, QC - Metropolis Theatre
7/19 Toronto, ON - Sound Academy
7/23 Winnipeg, MB - The Burton Cummings Theatre
7/25 Edmonton, AB - Starlite Room
7/28 Vancouver, BC - Orpheum Theatre
