Onetime Everything but the Girl member Ben Watt got back in the solo game earlier this year via the release of his Hendra LP, and he has decided to keep celebrating his return by adding a handful of additional dates to his North American summer tour.
Watt had previously lined up shows in New York and Los Angeles this June, but the UK artist has now filled out his schedule with another week's worth of North American dates in July. These additions start out in Philadelphia and wind down out in San Francisco, but there is one Canadian appearance to report as well. Watt will take his Hendra tunes to Toronto's Drake Hotel on July 17.
You'll find all of the show details down below.
As previously reported, Hendra is Watt's first solo LP in over 30 years. The follow-up to 1983's North Marine Drive was previously described by Watt as "a folk-rock record in an electronic age," and found him tracking tunes in both Berlin and London with the likes of Suede guitarist Bernard Butler and German producer Ewan Pearson. You'll find a stream of the album beneath the concert info.
