Vancouver, BC prog pop outfit Bend Sinister were finalists in this year's PEAK Performance Project, taking home the hefty third place prize of $50,000. The band are now putting those winnings to good use, issuing new EP Spring Romance on June 1.

The five-song collection will be released via Team Distort. You can check out the album cover above and the tracklist below.

This is presumably the same project that front-man Dan Moxon blogged about earlier this year when he revealed that the band were working with renowned Vancouver producer Howard Redekopp (the New Pornographers, Tegan and Sara, You Say Party! We Say Die!).

Bend Sinister are currently on tour in Ontario, and in early June will make stops in Quebec and New York.
