Detroit-based experimental hardcore band the Armed will kick off Bernie Sanders's rally in Warren, MI, this Saturday (March 8). The collective, who had to cancel their 2024 tour due to financial difficulties, will take the stage at Lincoln High School, marking their first live show in over a year.

The US senator will deliver an address centred on fighting the oligarchy and "where we go from here," as stated on a poster shared by the Armed on Instagram. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. ET, with the Armed taking the stage at 3 p.m., followed by a series of guest speakers at 4 p.m.

Sanders's events have previously seen performances by Public Enemy, the Strokes, Bon Iver, Lucy Dacus, Joyce Manor, Soccer Mommy and many more.

If you happen to have plans to be in town this weekend, you can RSVP to "Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go from Here with Bernie Sanders in Warren" here. See the gig poster below.
