Big Boi Announces 'Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors' Album

It's been far too long since Outkast rapper Big Boi released his fantastic 2010 effort Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. And while he's tempted us with news of a follow-up in the year and a half since then, no firm news has appeared. Now, however, he's announced the official album title.

While it was long referred to under the working title Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, Big Boi announced via Twitter that the release would be called Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.

The whole Daddy Fat Sax thing hasn't disappeared, however, as Big Boi also tweeted, "I gotta a Record I just finished with Me @BIGKRIT and UGK All on one song. On my new Album #DaddyFatSaxxx."

It's not too surprising that Big Boi would team up with fellow rappers Big K.R.I.T. and UGK. But he's also spent the last year or so hinting at bizarre collaborations with the likes of Modest Mouse, Owl City and possibly even Kate Bush. No word on any of those yet, but stay tuned for more details as we get them.
