There's still one week to go before Los Angeles duo Big Business officially Command Your Weather via their album of the same name. Something screwy is going on up in the sky, though, and chances are it may have to do something with the fact that the fuzzed-and-freaked noise rock release is streaming right now.
The nine-song release starts off quite subtly with some New Age chimes, but the tail end of opening "Last Legs" concludes with an ominous, in-the-red alarm. From there, bassist Jared Warren and drummer Coady Willis slam into a series of nose-bloodying cuts. Highlights include the powerful, paternal "Father's Day" and distorted psych-piece "Own Throats."
Parting the skies with a blast of punk 'n' roll weirdness, Command Your Weather can be streamed below, courtesy of Noisey. The album officially hits retailers July 8 via Joyful Noise Recordings and the duo's very own Gold Metal Records.
