Big K.R.I.T.

"Cadillactica"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 14, 2014

Though Big K.R.I.T. will be cruising his way through the galaxy up until the November 11 release of sophomore album, Cadillactica, he's now cranking up the car stereo with an early peek of the synth-swerving title track.

A relaxed bed of cosmos-grafted keyboards and airy female backups provide an ethereal backdrop for the Southern rap figure, but he pushes the pace up a couple of gears with speedy bars and a hook of "Cadillac-lack-lack-lack-lack." Throughout the cut, he talks big about his own set of wheels ("fuck your whip"), shouts out his granddaddy and maintains that despite trying to steal someone's girlfriend, he comes in peace.

Cadillactica lands via Cinematic/Def Jam and is currently being supported with a North American tour. You'll find all of the show details over here.
