Reunited '90s radio staples Big Sugar will release their album Yardstyle on April 15 through eOne Music, and they're streaming the entire record ahead of time.
The 14-song collection combines new material with overhauled versions of past cuts (including the hit "Turn the Lights On"). It showcases the band performing their tunes in stripped-down acoustic form; these arrangements were inspired by their jam sessions on the tour bus and backstage before shows.
The results draw heavily on reggae and centre on clattering hand drum percussion. Along the way, listeners will hear tuneful horns, honking harmonica, group-sung vocal harmonies, and lots of live-off-the-floor energy.
Hear it all go down below.
In support of the record, Big Sugar have lined up a string of Canadian dates, which you can see here.
