Do you remember Big Sugar? We certainly do. In the '90s and early 2000s, it seemed liked you couldn't go anywhere without hearing their radio-friendly hybrid of rock, blues and reggae. Well, the band reunited last year and this fall will hit the road in support of their recent comeback album Revolution Per Minute.
The lengthy cross-Canada jaunt will keep the band on the road from October until December, as they travel from Vancouver Island all the way to Newfoundland. Along the way, they will play 27 Canadian shows, plus a single U.S. gig in the Detroit suburb Ferndale.
Big Sugar leader Gordie Johnson had this to say in a press release: "Performing on the road is a wonderful experience, Something fantastic happens when this band plays every night and everyone gets limber and the creative juices start flowing. Big Sugar has never been known to stick to a script, and we are all looking forward to experiencing the wild and unpredictable things that are going to happen on stage."
