Big Wreck have announced plans for their sixth studio album called …but for the sun. The record is due August 30 via Warner.

Frontman Ian Thornley describes the upcoming album as "no bullshit return to loud rock'n'roll." It was recorded in Toronto and produced by JUNO Award-winning producer, engineer and mixer Eric Ratz, who has previously worked with Arkells and Cancer Bats.

To give fans an idea what to expect, Big Wreck have shared the new album track "One More Chance." Watch the Artscape Daniels Launchpad collaboration video for "One More Chance" below.

The previously released lead single from ...but for the sun, "Locomotive," can also be heard below.

Alongside the album announcement, Big Wreck have also plotted a massive North American tour that includes multiple stops across Canada. Find those dates below.

Near the beginning of the tour, Big Wreck will perform in Sarnia during Sarnia Bluewater BorderFest Music Festival for a benefit show in honour of their late guitarist and co-founder, Brian Doherty, who passed away on June 5. For every ticket sold for that August 9 performance, the band will donate $2 to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (July 26).
