Continuing with his isolation covers series, "No Fun Mondays," Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has shared this week's edition, his take on Irish power pop troupe, the Starjets, and their 1979 track "War Stories."
"This is it, this is it…" Armstrong wrote of the cover in a post. "This is this week's #NoFunMondays: War Stories by Starjets."
Previously, Armstrong had offered his tribute to the late Adam Schlesinger with a cover of "That Thing You Do," as well as reworking the Avengers' "Corpus Christi," the Bangles' "Manic Monday," Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now," among others.
