As we recently told you, beloved East Vancouver metal institution Bison B.C. have been hard at work on their third album, which front-man James Farwell described as "a good old-fashioned batch of songs." Now, the band have revealed all the pertinent record details.
The album is called Dark Ages, and was once again recorded with Jesse Gander at the Hive Creative Labs. According to a press release, the album is all "Flying V's, analog perfection, loud & sludgy, played by hairy dudes in dirty denim jackets."
If the lead track "Stressed Elephant" is any indication, the album is also the band's most diverse. The song, which can be streamed here, is over eight minutes long and incorporates horns in its epic intro before erupting with a full on thrash attack.
Dark Ages will be released on April 13 via Metal Blade.
Dark Ages:
1. "Stressed Elephant"
2. "Fear Cave"
3. "Melody, This Is For You"
4. "Two-Day Booze"
5. "Die Of Devotion"
6. "Take The Next Exit"
7. "Wendigo Pt. 3 (Let Him Burn)"
