Back in January 2023, Ozzy Osbourne announced his retirement from touring and cancelled the remaining dates on his No More Tours 2 Tour, which was first conceived in 2018 but postponed many times due to both the pandemic and the vocalist's ongoing health issues. However, Osbourne will be taking to the stage one final time this summer alongside the rest of the original Black Sabbath lineup, reuniting for the first time in 20 years.

Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward will perform together after two decades apart to headline an event entitled Back to the Beginning, taking place on July 5 in their native Birmingham, UK's Villa Park. The supporting acts include a few little metal bands you may or may not have heard of, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Mastodon and more.

"It's my time to go Back to the Beginning… time for me to give back to the place where I was born," Osbourne, who will play a short solo set before headlining with the band, said in a statement. "How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever."

"This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever," added musical director Tom Morello.

Tickets go on sale next Friday (February 14) at 10 a.m. GT, with all proceeds supporting Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice.
