Black Milk

"Dismal"

Excited to hear Black Milk's upcoming No Poison, No Paradise LP? Well, get ready to get dragged down into the dumps via the Detroit rapper/producer's crucially depressing preview track "Dismal."

A current of despair runs through the track, via sullen synth work and a nihilistic narrative. Following an eerily ascending chorus arrangement, Black Milk waxes wise about the fact that despite going from broke to having that guap in their pocket, some people will never find true happiness. You'll have to choke down that dark dose of reality with a couple of swigs of the bottle he pops mid-song.

Nevertheless, you can stream "Dismal" down below.

No Poison, No Paradise arrives October 15 via Fat Beats and Black Milk's own Computer Ugly imprint, and is being supported by a fall tour that stops in Canada for shows in Montreal and Toronto. You can check out the tour schedule over here.
