Black Mountain to Release "Rollercoaster" Single

While hazy Vancouver psych rockers Black Mountain have been hitting it hard since the fall release of their third album, Wilderness Heart, the outfit still have more goodies in store for their fans. Label Jagjaguwar has announced that the group will unleash a third single for the album later this month.

Listeners will no doubt already be familiar with the slow-mo stoner fuzz of Steve McBean and Amber Webber duet "Rollercoaster." The big news, however, is that the single, which comes out April 26, will feature an exclusive B-side called "In the Drones." The murky tune is said to be Webber-led and is backed by "reverb-drenched picking and shadowy synth stylings." Sounds intense. The track was recorded at Seattle's London Bridge Studios by Randall Dunn.

On top of delivering some new material, the band are still travelling full force in support of Wilderness Heart. You can check out the globe-trotting dates, which include a stop at the Whistler ski resort in BC, below.
