California sister band Bleached are avowed Halloween lovers, and they're celebrating the spookiest day of the year by releasing a graveyard video for their Ride Your Heart cut "Love Spells."
The clip for this catchy bubblegum punk number shows the band performing in a graveyard as a gaggle of ghouls swarm around them a for a dance party. The monsters evidently need music to live, since they drop dead as soon as the song ends.
The band's Jennifer Clavin said in a statement, "Halloween and October are my favourite time of year so I was excited when I realized we had a month to put together a rad B-Horror style music video before Halloween gets here! So with the help of some amazing friends, and taking inspiration from our girl sunbathing in the graveyard shirt we got it all together. We made it past the obstacles like getting kicked out of our first filming location, leaving the next morning for our Europe tour, editing it on the road in the van, and keeping it all pretty DIY. Xoxo."
Ride Your Heart is out through Dead Oceans.
