Bleed the Dream

It’s almost amazing to me that this record isn’t by the Used. The vocalist’s tone is eerily similar and the main vocal parts are almost melody for melody rip-offs. "Song Structure” is derivative of every other band in the genre, with guitars chugging along between quiet emo parts and heavy metal inspired bits. In itself, striving to sound like the Used is probably not a good idea for any young band looking to last in the heavy music scene. It’s unfortunate that the events surrounding Built By Blood are so tragic; drummer Scott Gottlieb spent some of his last days dying from cancer recording the drum tracks on the record.
