In near alignment with the anniversary of their first-ever concert (February 8, 1985), Blue Rodeo are celebrating 40 years as a band with the announcement of the upcoming release of their second greatest hits collection.
Greatest Hits: Vol. 2 — the follow-up to 2001's Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 — will be available on 2LP vinyl and CD on March 21 via Warner Music, and is now available for pre-order. The 14-track album compiles fan favourites from across the legends' storied career, featuring tracks from their debut album Outskirts, their most recent LP, Many a Mile, and everything in between.
Blue Rodeo have also announced that their documentary, Blue Rodeo: Lost Together, will be free to watch on CBC Gem starting February 21. The doc will also get select theatrical screenings in cities in Ontario and British Columbia including Hamilton's Playhouse (February 7), Invermere Film Festival (February 8), Victoria Film Festival and Cinecenta Victoria (February 9 and 25), as well as Kingston Canadian Film Festival (March 2).
