Hailing from the U.S. Capitol region and utilising the production talents of Burning Airlines front man J. Robbins, Bluetip's third full-length sounds like exactly what you'd expect from a Dischord band, a blistering fusion of raw, melodic post-punk and dissonant guitar squeals. This disc whirrs and screams from start to finish with the fever of a lawnmower engine attempting to power the Concord, the highlights being the furious complexity of the four-minute math rock punk epic "New Shoe Premonition" and the slow building whirl of "Stereo Tinnitus."
