Last night (May 26) marked the end of the Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit, and Pitchfork is reporting that a new Boards of Canada track was premiered before Squarepusher's evening set.
Warp Records hinted at the song premiere earlier in the day, tweeting: "Tonight at Movement main stage in Detroit @_Squarepusher headlines and something earlier." In their ongoing updates about the new material from Boards of Canada, 2020k claims that the new track is titled "Cold Earth."
The Scottish electronic duo recently announced that they would follow up 2005's The Campfire Headphase with a new LP called Tomorrow's Harvest. The new record drops on June 11 via Warp, but you can check out a video of the rumoured premiere of "Cold Earth" below.
