Soundz of Freedom

French house DJ and producer Bob Sinclar’s latest, Soundz of Freedom, features upbeat party anthems with vocals about the peace we envision, encouraging us to envision a little harder. By-lined as "My Ultimate Summer of Love Mix,” the man is telling the truth. The record takes a bevy of old songs newly remixed, adds some unheard tracks and weaves them together in the style of a mix CD. The constant upbeat bump to the record never stops rockin’ the block, making this a complementary record for beach parties and summer sunshine. First single "Sound of Freedom” (with vocals by Gary Pine and Dollarman) rocks awesome dancehall rhythms. So much upbeat love could get tedious for analytical listeners; this music is better left to the street party. The colourful album art is reflective of the upbeat musical sound. Soundz of Freedom also has a bonus DVD featuring tour footage from Canada, Brazil, Dubai and 2007’s Miami Winter Music Conference.
