Yet another one of Revelation’s back catalogue artists gets the re-release treatment with a compilation of all of this venerable NYC hardcore outfit's material brought together in one place. Bold were significant in the mid-’80s scene for a couple of reasons: they were young and they were different in their approach to their music. They opened the doors for a lot of frustrated urban youth who used music to vent their pent up angst, but unlike most of the bands of the day, they weren't content with just playing as loud and fast as they could for a minute or so. Their songs were more involved (relatively speaking). This collection ranges from professional sounding studio recordings to cassette dubbed demos but it is nothing if not complete. They may have only been around for a few years, but their influence can still be heard and felt today.
