Brazilian Baile Funk sensations Bonde Do Role have had to cancel their Canadian dates supporting fellow countrymen/women CSS. According to Stephanie Hardman, director of media relations for the band's Canadian distributor Outside Music, DJ/MC Rodrigo Gorky has been sidelined due to "emergency dental surgery."
The trio were unable to perform last night's scheduled gig in Montreal at La Tulipe, and will follow suit with tonight's show at Lee's Palace, as well as Wednesday's Vancouver gig at Richard's On Richards.
No official announcement has been given regarding refunds, which means check with the venue. Bonde Do Role are expected to return to Canada for some shows in September.
