Bonnaroo and Glastonbury Have Both Been Called Off Due to Coronavirus

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Mar 18, 2020

Adding to the increasingly long list of events derailed by the coronavirus, festival biggies Bonnaroo and Glastonbury have both been officially called off.

Tennessee's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival was set to take place from June 11 to 14 and feature the likes of Tool, Lizzo and Tame Impala. Now, however, organizers have postponed the event until September 24 to 27. Tickets will now be honoured at this later date.

The U.K.'s famed Glastonbury, meanwhile, has outright cancelled its 2020 festival due to growing concerns about the virus. This means, Kendrick Lamar, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and many more will not be playing the festival this year.

You can find statements from both festivals below.

Fans with off-site accommodations and shuttles purchased through the festival will be contacted directly with updates. Rest assured, we will share updates as quickly as possible via email, our website, and on our social accounts. Please continue to radiate positivity through this uncharted time in our world.
