Prolific singer-songwriter Bonnie "Prince" Billy (aka Will Oldham) did some more singing and songwriting for an Aussie surf film last year. Now, we get a taste of one of those songs with a stream of "We Love Our Hole."
Speaking with Exclaim! last year, Oldham explained that he and Emmett Kelly would likely release the songs outside of the film, saying, "because there's no what way to tell how long Andrew's gonna take to finish his movie, we thought maybe we'd put out a 7-inch or something like that."
They've decided to do just that, issuing two songs from the release on a new 7-inch record set to arrive via Empty Cellar Records. The record's set to arrive on June 17, but you can stream the sunny sing-along "We Love Our Hole" below courtesy of The FADER.
