Born Ruffians

"Oh Cecilia" (video)

Last December, stories emerged that Toronto crossing guard Kathleen Byers, who is known for dancing on the job, had been asked to stop dancing due to possibly distracting drivers and endangering pedestrians. Now, Born Ruffians have got her to appear in their new music video.

The clip is for the perky pop rock cut "Oh Cecilia," which comes from the expanded version of their album Birthmarks. The VHS-quality video shows Byers boogieing while the lyrics flash up across the bottom of the screen. Even if her dancing isn't welcome on the streets of Toronto, it brightens up this video nicely.
