Montreal electro beatmaker Poirier has been rolling out Riddim EPs as of late, but now he's shifting his attention to a new project with a new name.
Poirier has unveiled the new moniker Boundary and released a haunting electro cut called "Free Violence." The shape-shifting three-minute track blends dark minimalism with hard-hitting rhythms and noir-ish synths.
A description on Soundcloud explains, "Dark cinematic electronic music from the cold north, Boundary explores hard hitting minimalistic soundscapes and channel the spirit of classic IDM, ambient and techno." Listen below.
