Boy George will soon have his life and career explored in a biopic, and he's got a great idea as to who should play him — Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
Speaking to the Fitzy and Wippa radio show on Nova 96.9, the Culture Club singer said he was intrigued by a suggestion that Turner should take on the role.
"It's really strange, but that's been a suggestion [I think] that will upset people, which I quite like," Boy George said. "[People will say]: 'Oh she can't play you, she's a woman! But you know, when I was 17 I would have loved to have been her… that was the ambition!"
Whether or not they'll follow through with this casting choice is yet to be seen, but Sophie is certainly down for the job:
The film is set to be written and directed by Sacha Gervasi, who previously helmed the excellent Canadian metal doc Anvil! The Story of Anvil.
