boygenius have shared a new song from their upcoming debut full-length the record — "Not Strong Enough" is a sunny, propulsive rocker that sees all three members trade off verse duties and come together for the bittersweet chorus.
It sounds in conversation with Sheryl Crow's 1993 song "Strong Enough," which would make sense given the trio's affinity for Crow's brand of crossover alt-rock: "The way I am / Not strong enough to be your man," goes the chorus.
The video was shot by the band and features footage of the trio on tour, eating meals, reading tarot cards, running around at the beach and riding roller coasters. It was edited by Bridgers' brother Jackson.
"Not Strong Enough" is the fourth single to be released from the record, following the triple-punch of "$20," "Emily I'm Sorry" and "True Blue." the record arrives March 31.
