Shania Twain has reacted to the realization that Ad Astra contains all of the things "That Don't Impress Me Much," according to her 1997 hit song.
As someone astutely pointed out on Twitter, the 2019 James Gray-directed film Ad Astra literally features everything that Twain is unimpressed by in the tune: a rocket scientist, Brad Pitt and car ownership.
In the first chorus of the song, Twain remarks: "Okay, so you're a rocket scientist / That don't impress me much." In the second chorus, she says: "Okay, so you're Brad Pitt / That don't impress me much." Finally, in the third chorus, she sings: "Okay, so you've got a car / That don't impress me much."
Twitter user @Mr_AndrewHunt pointed out that these three things all exist in the film Ad Astra — in which Brad Pitt plays a rocket scientist and also drives a car (in outer space, no less).
Twain took note of the tweet and responded with a string of crying laughing emojis.
