Braids Plot North American Trek in Support of Native Speaker

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 24, 2010

Truthfully, it's a little frustrating that there are still a couple of months to go before Montreal indie kids Braids release their debut album Native Speaker. While we're still jamming on "Lemonade", the disc's sole leaked tune, we're starting to get a little antsy for more of their electronic-tinged slabs of psych pop. Sweet relief will come soon, though, with a winter tour.

The tour kicks off next week with a pair of New York shows with the Radio Dept. before Braids team up with Baths for a series of U.S. dates. Unfortunately for Canadians, there is only one date north of the border, when Braids will play a hometown show in Montreal on February 18.

Check out the tour dates, as well as a video of a particularly awesome, yet unspecified, song below.

Native Speaker is due out via Flemish Eye on January 18.
