Broken Social Scene's summer tour plans have hit a serious roadblock. The band have just announced that all their tour dates in the U.K. and Europe have been cancelled.
The overseas trek was to kick off in Sweden on August 10. However, according to a post from the band, the dates will no longer take place "due to health issues."

At this point, the status of Broken Social Scene's fast-approaching dates in North America remains unclear. But as of press time, the band have not made any official cancellations in the U.S. or Canada. In Canada, BSS are scheduled to play Wanderlust Whistler, BC, on August 2.
UPDATE (7/26, 3 p.m. EDT): BSS have now shared a longer statement on Facebook explaining all their North American shows will go ahead as planned. You'll find their statement below.
