While he had to postpone his 50th anniversary tour due to COVID-19, Bruce Cockburn isn't slowing celebrations with the announcement of a new vinyl box set.
Cockburn and his longtime label home of True North Records will bring three of his studio LPs to wax for the limited, numbered 50th anniversary box set. The collection will arrive in September and is now available for pre-order.
Included in the set are three of Cockburn's "most significant recordings": his self-titled 1970 debut, 1997's The Charity of Night, and 1999's Breakfast in New Orleans, Dinner in Timbuktu.
The box set will mark the first time The Charity of Night and Breakfast in New Orleans, Dinner in Timbuktu have seen release on vinyl.
Each album in the box was remastered by Cockburn's longtime producer Colin Linden and will arrive on coloured 180-gram wax housed in sleeves adapted from original album artwork by designer Michael Wrycraft.
Cockburn released the instrumental Crowing Ignites — his 26th studio effort — last September.
