Next month, long-running UK producer the Bug will follow up his recent Angels & Devils LP with a new EP called Exit. Ahead of its release, the artist has shared a video for the Angels & Devils songs "Function" and "Void."
The black-and-white clip imagines a dystopian not-so-distant future, where a man's day at work is driven by screens and pills. Eventually, the world around him literally shatters.
The video was helmed by creative team Factory Fifteen, who shared their inspiration in a press release. "We wanted to reflect The Bug's thematic ideas and visually explore the narrative of a person stuck in a totalitarian system, using themes from our current society of consumerist lifestyles," they said. "The whole process was critically engaging and allowed us to truly build a world . . . and then tear it down."
Watch the clip for "Function" and "Void" below. Exit, meanwhile, will arrive on October 7 via Ninja Tune.
