A new twist on an old sound, this South Carolina four-piece take the best of the Juliana Theory, Saves The Day and Armor For Sleep and add their own melodic, delicate but tough indie rock twist. The vocals have the same Southern tweak as Jimmy Eat World, and great sounding guitars swirl around sing/scream vocals in catchy numbers like "Watership Down.” Unfortunately the magic isn’t quite there on "Twenty-Two,” whose interesting vocal arrangements make for a good start but don’t really go anywhere. BurnsoutBright present a promising effort with the six-song EP.
