Burt Bacharach

Burt Bacharach is a legend. And after seeing him play almost every song in his repertoire, I can honestly say that he deserves the title. Every person in Église St. Jean-Baptiste knew the words to every song he played, and they all listened intently to his stories about his time at McGill University and the Brill Building, even though I’m sure half of them didn’t speak a word of English. Ending with a sing-along to "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head” was like the proverbial cherry on top of the cake.
