Cancer Bats have released "Pressure Mind," the latest single from their upcoming seventh album Psychic Jailbreak, which is out April 15 via the band's own Bat Skull Records in partnership with New Damage.
Like many CB songs, the track sounds tailor-made for a live setting, roaring right out of the gate with its repetitious chorus, sure to be screamed along to by many sweaty attendees at shows along their current Canadian tour.
"This song is our punk rock way of blowing off some steam," vocalist Liam Cormier said in a press release, adding, "Melodic verses and bridge are all about introspection and thinking how we get ourselves in these mindsets time and time again and then the chorus is all about LETTING IT OUT!"
Psychic Jailbreak is the group's first new album since the departure of Scott Middleton. They previously previewed the record with its title track and "Lonely Bong."
