Carrie Brownstein Was an Answer on 'Jeopardy!'

And the Sleater-Kinney and 'Portlandia' star is damn proud of it

There have been plenty of hilarious musical moments (and mistakes) on Jeopardy! in the last few years, but a contestant actually gave a correct response about Sleater-Kinney's Carrie Brownstein this week.

On Monday (October 14), a contestant named Erin correctly asked, "Who is Carrie Brownstein?" in response to the clue: "Fred Armisen and this Carrie were co-stars and co-creators of Portlandia."

Brownstein herself caught wind of the shout-out and shared a clip from the show on Instagram.

In the caption, she joked, "At long last, I am officially valid in the eyes of Aunts, Uncles, second cousins, and distant relatives."

Brownstein is currently on tour with Sleater-Kinney, in support of the band's latest album The Center Won't Hold.
