After years of music-making as Gobble Gobble and Born Gold, Edmonton electronic pop auteur Cecil Frena is set to release an album under his birth name. The artist has already shared a handful of singles from The Gridlock, and today Exclaim! is proud to premiere "Hyphen."
The song is a lush, dynamic pop tune that further demonstrates the layered creativity of Frena's compositions. Of the song, Frena said, "Unbelievably, I had cause to write a love song. Every dash can misdiagnose itself sometimes."
