The Chariot Bundle Hot Sauce with New Album

BY Josiah HughesPublished Apr 16, 2009

Former Norma Jean front-man Josh Scogin's current metalcore project the Chariot have announced all the details for their forthcoming third full-length. Titled Wars and Rumors of Wars, the album will be coming out on May 5 through Solid State Records.

Besides the probability of some crucial mosh parts, another reason to buy the album is that the band have put a lot of care into it: 25,000 copies of the CD will be hand-stamped by the band, and thus unique. And if you pre-order the album now, it will come bundled with a special hot sauce developed by the band. Called Hot and Rumors of Hot, the sauce was hand-picked by the Chariot.

The package can be pre-ordered here, but the description is so good it just had to be reposted.

What happens when you put the sun and a distortion pedal into a blender? You get the Chariot's "Hot And Rumors of Hot" The Hot Sauce! Ever wonder what a breakdown tastes like? Get this limited edition sauce and find out. Guaranteed you'll be screaming like Josh Scogin after your first taste of this delicious sauce!

The band will be road-testing the new album beginning May 1, when they set out on tour with Gojira and Car Bomb.
