A UK-based charity auction is currently selling off the opportunity to strike a pose with the bands original photographer Stephen Wright to help Morrissey raise money to save the Salford Lads' Club, which was immortalised on the inside of their seminal album, The Queen Is Dead (pictured above).
This will be the main attraction as part of the Cancer Research's Sound and Vision 2008 event at renowned Abbey Road studios. Other prizes to bid on will include limited edition signed prints from such artists as Johnny Cash and the Doors. Musical performances from the Brand New Heavies, Beverley Knight and 10cc will take place during the event on February 28.
