A powerhouse vocalist, Wilson masked herself in waves of reverb and a mix of synthetic and familiar tones for her bleary-eyed, afternoon music crawl set. As a performer, she's soulful and playfully inscrutable.

With myriad pedals at her feet, a laptop and keyboard at the ready, and a beautiful, old hollow-body guitar, Wilson links musical technologies for what's ultimately a classic sound. Her rendition of "Old School Love" by Divine Brown was awe-inspiring.

She's a dry wit in her banter, consciously downplaying the tension a performer feels on stage. Instead, she channels all of her energy into heartfelt, big songs and it's truly captivating.
