Last year, French actress/chanteuse Charlotte Gainsbourg significantly upped her indie cred when she released IRM, which was co-written and produced by Beck. Now that she has a legion of guero-loving supporters on her side, Gainsbourg will be hitting the road next month for a brief North American tour.
The outing will include a stop at Coachella, as well as four Canadian dates: Vancouver and Victoria, plus a two-night stand in Montreal. Evidently, Gainsbourg has a big following in Montreal, as this is the only two-night stand of the tour. But it makes sense that she would be popular in Quebec, given that Gainsbourg got her start acting in French language films.
Tour dates:
4/11 Vancouver, BC - Vogue Theatre
4/12 Victoria, BC - Alix Goolden Hall
4/14 Seattle, WA - Crocodile Cafe
4/15 Portland, OR - Wonder Ballroom
4/17 San Francisco, CA - Palace of Fine Arts
4/18 Indio, CA - Coachella
4/21 Chicago, IL - Park West
4/23 Montreal, PQ - Olympia
4/24 Montreal, PQ - Olympia
4/25 New York, NY - Webster Hall
7/16 La Rochelle, France - Le Festival Francofolies
