Check Out Exclaim!'s June Issue

BY Denise FalzonPublished Jun 2, 2009

As summer approaches, Exclaim! readers are likely to be out frolicking in the sun, meanwhile, the staff at your favourite music mag have been locked indoors in order to bring you our latest June issue. As always, there's a ton of new music to check out, which can be found street-side across the nation and, here, online.

Check out this month's cover story on Andrew Whiteman's latest endeavor Apostle of Hustle. Also inside this month's issue, we have features on electronic mastermind The Field, roots rockers Rock Plaza Central and hardcore punks Coalesce, as well as articles on Grand Analog, Grizzly Bear, Hypnotic Brass Ensembleand Sunparlour Players.

Keep trekking through the issue, and you'll also find we recruited Buck 65 to fill out our monthly Questionnaire, dug into the storied history of pop-punk trailblazers Green Day and took a look at the power of DJ spinners in Ruling the Decks.

As always, the June issue comes jam-packed with our latest music, film and videogames reviews, in addition to our Music School section, which follows Do Make Say Think, Broken Social Scene and Years' multi-talented Ohad Benchetrit in Where I Play and gives bands ten rules for hitting the road this summer in Need to Know.

Also, keep your eyes on our constantly updated online news, as well as Exclaim! TV and our web-exclusive interviews in Conversations.
