If you were hoping to see Cher perform in Winnipeg, you're out of luck. Her already-postponed concert has now been officially cancelled entirely.
Cher was to play the city's Bell MTS Place on May 21 as part of her "Here We Go Again Tour," but she postponed the concert due to illness — after the audience had already filled the venue. A new date was promised to be announced within 48 hours of the show, but it never was.
Now promoter Live Nation has called off Cher's Winnipeg show, informing fans it's been cancelled.
"Due to scheduling difficulties, the recently postponed Cher performance at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg has been cancelled," a press release reads.
It then goes on to tell fans that those who ordered tickets online or by phone will be refunded automatically. Other tickets can be refunded at their point of purchase.
