Although she still pays great reverence to her country influences, singer-songwriter Christina Martin explored pop and classic rock sounds on her fifth album, It'll Be Alright, which resulted in her most eclectic and developed record to date. The title track is a shining example of Martin's new sound, and we recorded a live rendition of the song during a session for Exclaim! TV.
Martin is joined by her husband Dale Murray (Cuff the Duke, the Guthries), who worked by her side on the new record; his crooning is gruff, but the harmonies are sweetened by Martin's honeyed vocals and the song's delicate melody. Watch the pair deliver the pretty tune in the player below.
